Red & Green Fun Day! - Craggagh National School Co Mayo

There was great excitement here as we donned the red and green of Mayo in support of our county footballers ahead of the All-Ireland Final against Donegal on September 23rd.

We had red and green hair, red and green shoes, Mayo themed buns, a huge cake shaped like a Mayo jersey, costumes, hats and jerseys.

We made a giant sign for the front of the school for all the passing cars to see and we decorated classrooms. The children made friendship bracelets in the Mayo colours and we even made our own homemade red and green pasta!

Finally, we all got together to form a giant, human "UP MAYO". Naturally, there was lots of singing too….no prizes for guessing which Saw Doctors’ Song was top of the bill!
