Craggagh National School Co Mayo

Mayo County Board in association with Cumann na mBunscol invites your school to take part in the "Red & Green Fun Day" on Friday 14th September.  All proceeds collected by your school will go directly towards the Mayo Senior Football Team’s Training Fund.  All participating schools will have the opportunity to win some FANTASTIC PRIZES for both Pupils and Staff.

How it works

On Friday 14 th of September  all children are encouraged to be imaginative in creating and putting together their own RED & GREEN costumes and wear their costume to school on that day.  Each child is asked to contribute €2  in support of the Mayo Senior  Football Team Training Fund on the run up to the All Ireland  Final on Sunday 23rd September. All schools who host the "Red & Green Fun Day" will then be entered in the draw for these AMAZING PRIZES.


1st Prize:
Family tickets to Mayo V Donegal  All Ireland Football Final
( i.e. 1 adult and 4 children or  2 adults and 3 children)

2nd Prize:
Family tickets to Mayo V Donegal  All Ireland Football Final
( i.e. 1 adult and 4 children or  2 adults and 3 children)

         
3rd prize for    " Best Red and Green Fun Day Photo"

A full set of Mayo or School Jerseys will be awarded to the  school which submits the  photograph which best captures  " The Spirit of the  Red and Green Fun Day" at their school. Photographs can be of an individual nature or group entries.
All photos should be submitted by email to secretary.mayo@gaa.ie before 7pm Friday 14th.

Bonus Prize for School Staff

Every school which takes part in the "Red & Green Fun Day" will be entered in a separate draw for TWO ALL IRELAND FINAL STAND TICKETS . These Tickets are exclusively for the staff of the winning school.


What to do!

Advertise the "Red and Green Fun Day" among Pupils, Staff and Parents for
Friday 14th September.

           A promotional poster has been sent to your school’s email address.

Collect €2 per child towards Mayo Senior Football Team Training Fund
           and send cheque/postal order  along with "School Detail Sheet" to
           Peter Carney, Carrowholly N.S., Westport before Wednesday 19th September.  

Only schools who have forwarded cheques by this date will be included in the draw.

Notes

The Draws will take place on Wednesday 19th September.  All prizes will be sent to the Principals of the winning schools.
