Andy Moran to visit Craggagh NS

We’re very excited here in Craggagh NS because on Wednesday, May 16th, Mayo Senior Football Captain and current All-Star, Andy Moran, will pay us a visit!

As well as playing for Mayo, Andy plays his club football for Ballaghaderreen. He has also played for Sligo IT and Jordanstown University, winning 3 Sigerson Cups along the way. He represented Mayo at minor and U-21 level before graduating to the Senior panel.

Andy was honoured by his fellow inter-county players following the 2011 campaign with a place on the All Star Team. He has been named as captain of Mayo for the 2012 season. We hope to see him climbing the steps of the Hogan Stand in September to collect a very important piece of silverware!

Andy will spend some time answering children’s questions in Craggagh NS and he will also be talking about the very important work going on in the Mayo Roscommon Hospice, where he currently works.
