Scraping our names on the
school-desk of cyberspace!

What have leap years ever done for me?

Well, they coincide with
The Olympics and The European Football Championships; tradition allows women to propose marriage to men, there’s an extra day of school holidays (really!) and there’s the small matter of keeping all of our clocks and calendars in sync with our solar system.

No big deal then!

We will be participating in the Feb29th.net initiative. This is a very exciting project which invites bloggers from all over the planet to scrape their names and thoughts onto the school-desk of cyberspace and decalre "I was here" on this unique date.  This is more than a celebration of technology, it’s a celebration of people!

Starting with Tonga on the western side of the International Date Line, following the rotation of the earth, bloggers right across the globe will continue to post throughout the day, ending at midnight in the Western Pacific (12pm March 1st Irish time).

The children of Craggagh NS will be blogging on Feb29th.net and will also post their comments here.

So, what are you up to?
